Garlic Parmesan Salmon - On The Grill

This is a recipe my husband likes to make. It is a real treat when he makes dinner.  It's especially fun to watch him find his way around the kitchen. This is a BBQ recipe but could certainly be baked at a high temperature in the oven as well. 

You will find this recipe to have a nice mild flavor. None of the flavors stand out alone, they all blend together. Perfect even for the choosiest eater!

Garlic Parmesan Salmon
Minced garlic
Parmesan Cheese

Rinse and dry salmon fillet.
Place salmon on a double thick piece of foil.
Have another large piece of foil available for the cover.
Cover fish with melted butter. (about 1 tablespoon)
Spread a large forkful of minced garlic over butter.
Sprinkle Parmesan Cheese over the garlic.
Squeeze half a lemon over everything.
End with some good shakes of Roasted Garlic & Herb Grill Mates over top. 
Heat up the BBQ.  While the BBQ is heating up make a cover with the extra piece of foil.

Cook on grill over high heat for 10 minutes.
Remove the top (cover) foil and check for doneness. Fish should not look gel like and should flake nicely with a fork. Continue cooking until done. We like to let the fish cook for a few minutes on the BBQ after we have taken the top foil off.

Serve with some tarter sauce and cocktail sauce.
