A healthy birthday treat

We are celebrating a birthday today.

I have posted these muffins before, Gluten Free Double Chocolate Pumpkin Muffins.

These are one of our absolute favorite recipes. My daughter is very health conscious and requested them for her birthday dessert. If you haven't tried them so soon! I added a little decoration for the special occasion, but normally we eat them plain. They are rich and moist, and the only fat added is 3 Tbls almond butter in the entire recipe!!  No eggs, no dairy, and safe for most allergy sensitive people.

I hope I have convinced you to give them a try! Remember...muffins freeze great too for a quick breakfast or snack.
