GF Low Sugar Chocolate-Almond Energy Bites

I love treats that are quick and easy, kind of healthy and very chocolatey! 

As I promised I have been experimenting with stevia. In this recipe I used NuNaturals More Fiber Stevia Baking BlendI have heard great things about this product and am anxious to use it in more recipes.

Weight Watcher Points Plus followers count each ball at 3 points, made as shown.

I added mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, but that is optional.

GF Low Sugar Chocolate-Almond Energy Bites          Makes 18 balls

1 banana, mashed
1/4 cup almond butter
1/4 cup peanut butter, I used chunky
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup Stevia Baking Blend
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup gluten free old fashioned oats, regular if gluten free is not needed
1/4 cup ground flax seed
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
1/4 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, (optional) I used Enjoy Life brand.

Line a large baking sheet with wax paper.
In a large bowl combine first 8 ingredients and mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients in order listed.
Shape into 1 1/2 -2 Tbsp balls and place on wax paper. Let sit for about 15 minutes or place in refrigerator or freezer. Eat up or serve.
Store in refrigerator or freezer.

They are fun to eat room temperature or cold.
