Seasoned Turkey Burgers























Here is a recipe for a gently seasoned, juicy ground turkey patty that is delicious in a bun, on the side with veggies, for breakfast, and even crumbled over a pizza the next day with all your favorite toppings.





The perfect blend of spices... in fact I wasn't expecting this to be so darn good, I ended up eating two right on the spot.

Weight watcher points plus for each patty is just under 3 points if recipe is divided into 5 patties, or just over 3 points if divided into 6 patties. 




Seasoned Turkey Burgers           Makes about 5-6 patties
1lb ground turkey
1 bunch of green onions, finely chopped.
1 tsp dried sage
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4-1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 bunch green onions, finely chopped
oil for cooking, I use coconut, avocado, or olive oil

In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients. Divide mixture into 5 or 6 patties. Cook in a large skillet. I cover the skillet for the first few minutes to ensure the patties are thoroughly cooked. Uncover, flip patties and cook until nicely browned.

I made extra and froze them with wax paper between the patties. They were handy to pop in the microwave when short on time.


These would be great on the grill too!
